Kpop Intern – Growth / Field Marketing

Role Description

We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and dedicated Kpop Intern – Growth / Field Marketing to join our remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in nurturing and expanding our vibrant Kpop community on the Gift platform. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community building, market research, and field marketing within a dynamic and innovative social platform.

Key responsibilities for this remote contract role include:

  • Community Expansion: Identifying and actively pursuing new opportunities to grow the Kpop community on Gift, attracting new fans, and increasing engagement.
  • Market Research: Conducting thorough market research to understand current trends, fan behaviors, popular groups, and emerging interests within the global Kpop landscape.
  • Fan Engagement: Proactively connecting and interacting with other Kpop fans, influencers, and community leaders to build relationships and gather insights.
  • Content Strategy Input: Contributing ideas for engaging content and initiatives that resonate with the Kpop community and encourage authentic interactions on the Gift platform.
  • Brand Representation: Acting as an ambassador for Gift within the Kpop community, communicating the platform’s value proposition and fostering a positive brand image.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively engage, interact, and represent the Gift brand within the diverse Kpop community, both online and potentially offline.
  • Profound Passion for Kpop: A genuine and deep-seated passion for Kpop culture, its artists, fandoms, and community-building is highly desirable and essential for success in this role.
  • Independent Work Ethic: Proven ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and maintain productivity in a remote, self-directed environment.
  • Marketing Experience (Plus): Previous experience in marketing, community management, social media, or event promotion is a plus, but not strictly required.
  • Bilingual Abilities (Plus): Proficiency in multiple languages (e.g., Korean, English) is a plus, as it can aid in broader community engagement, but not a mandatory requirement.
