• Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction:
  • Familiarity with common precalculus curricula and the challenges students often face, such as rational function graphing, parametric equations, polar coordinates, and limit concepts.
  • Ability to adapt instruction using graphing technology, visual representations, and scaffolded problems to effectively bridge students’ algebra and trigonometry knowledge to calculus readiness for AP or college placement.
• Effective Teaching Methods:
  • Capacity to identify concepts students commonly struggle with and explain material using multiple approaches.
  • Skill in adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs and diverse learning styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
