The Tone:

This role is vital for empowering students to significantly improve their SAT Math scores, achieve specific academic goals, and cultivate a lasting passion for learning through customized instruction.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliver Instruction: Provide personalized, one-on-one online SAT Math tutoring and offer instant, on-demand support to students.
• Improve Scores: Significantly impact students’ SAT Math scores and overall test readiness through tailored instruction.
• Utilize Tools: Integrate the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features.
• Manage Schedule: Establish and manage a flexible tutoring schedule from a remote location, fitting seamlessly into your lifestyle.
• Focus on Teaching: Invoice for tutoring sessions while Varsity Tutors handles all payment logistics.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Advanced math content mastery, specifically across all SAT Math topics including linear equations, quadratic functions, exponential growth, geometry, and trigonometry, with an ability to explain calculator strategies and grid-in formatting.
• Experience: Minimum SAT Math score of 720 and a proven track record of helping students significantly improve their math subscores, alongside familiarity with SAT Math question distribution and common traps.
• Skills: Strategic problem-solving abilities to teach multiple solution pathways and time management, effective teaching methods that adapt to individual learning needs, strong communication skills, and an engaging teaching style.
