What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliver: Provide personalized, one-on-one online math instruction to individual elementary school students.
• Utilize: Leverage the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support and lesson generation.
• Manage: Invoice for your tutoring sessions to ensure timely compensation for your work.
• Engage: Accept on-demand tutoring requests whenever you are available to assist students instantly.
• Impact: Significantly improve students’ academic success and comprehension across core elementary math concepts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess deep knowledge of core elementary math concepts including number sense, place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, basic fractions and decimals, measurement, time, money, geometric shapes, patterns, and introductory data interpretation. Familiarity with elementary math standards for grades one through five and common student challenges is required.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to break down complex math concepts like multi-digit operations and fractions using hands-on manipulatives, drawings, and visual models. Proven experience in adapting instruction to support young learners at various developmental readiness levels.
• Skills: Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style, with proficiency in identifying concepts students commonly struggle with. Ability to explain material using multiple approaches and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
