This role is crucial for supporting students preparing for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification examination, enabling them to achieve academic success and a deep understanding of financial planning concepts. What You’ll Actually Do
• Instruct: Provide personalized, in-depth 1-on-1 online instruction to individual students preparing for the CFP examination.
• Support: Deliver immediate support to students by accepting on-demand tutoring requests whenever available.
• Explain: Explain the financial planning process, fiduciary standards, and conduct integrated case study analysis across all CFP examination content areas.
• Guide: Guide students through strategic test-taking, integrated financial planning analysis, and quantitative calculation approaches relevant to the CFP examination.
• Adapt: Adapt instruction effectively using CFP Board practice examinations, financial calculator drills, and case study analysis to meet diverse student learning needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Deep knowledge of all CFP examination content areas, including general financial planning principles, risk management, investment planning, tax planning, retirement planning, estate planning, and professional conduct.
• Experience: Skilled at teaching integrated financial planning analysis, case study question strategies, and quantitative calculation approaches relevant to the CFP examination.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, an engaging teaching style, adaptability to different learning styles, and the ability to identify common student struggles and explain concepts using multiple approaches.
