Wellness Intern at Her Campus

Her Campus Media is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Wellness Intern for a summer remote internship. This role offers a significant level of responsibility and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the editorial team, focusing on content relevant to Gen Z readers within the wellness vertical.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Write and edit engaging wellness articles, including timely assignments for the Mental Health, Sex & Relationships, Health, and Wellness sections, as well as astrology topics.
  • Editorial Projects: Assist with larger editorial projects and content packages.
  • Research & Interviews: Conduct interviews with talent and expert sources to gather information for articles.
  • SEO & E-commerce Optimization: Create and optimize content for search engine visibility and e-commerce integration.
  • Deadline Management: Work efficiently on tight deadlines and quick turnarounds for assignments.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates for this internship will possess the following attributes and qualifications:

  • Current College Undergraduate: Must be currently enrolled as a college undergraduate student.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of all Google for Work tools.
  • Work Ethic: Hardworking, detail-oriented, efficient, and creative.
  • Passion for Her Campus: Enthusiastic about the Her Campus mission and its audience.
  • Gen Z Focus: A strong passion for all things Gen Z and understanding their interests.
  • Content Comfort: Comfortable writing about sensitive topics such as mental health, relationships, sexual health and pleasure, and general wellness.
  • Interest Areas: Demonstrated interest in writing, editing, research, college trends, project management, and creating content relevant to the wellness vertical.

Additional Information:

  • Location: This is a remote internship, available to current college students located in the United States.
  • Schedule: Internships are offered year-round on a full-time or part-time basis, with flexible hours.
  • Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, offered for school credit.
  • Visa Sponsorship: Her Campus Media does not offer visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
