What You’ll Actually Do
• Instruct: Deliver personalized 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions to individual students.
• Engage: Accept on-demand tutoring requests to provide instant support whenever available.
• Explain: Break down complex anatomy and physiology topics, including organ structure-function relationships, feedback loops, and pathophysiological processes.
• Guide: Lead students through problem-solving exercises, such as tracing blood flow pathways, analyzing electrocardiograms, and interpreting hormonal feedback loops.
• Adapt: Utilize diverse teaching methods, including anatomical models, labeling exercises, and clinical case studies, to support students at various academic levels.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Demonstrated deep knowledge of human body systems (musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous, endocrine, digestive, urinary, reproductive, lymphatic, and integumentary), histology, and homeostatic mechanisms.
• Experience: Proficiency in breaking down complex topics like cardiac cycle mechanics and renal filtration, and guiding students through analytical tasks to predict disease impacts on organ systems.
• Skills:
• Advanced subject mastery in human anatomy and physiology, including the ability to explain structure-function relationships and pathophysiological processes.
• Conceptual teaching and problem-solving abilities, with an emphasis on clinical relevance to diagnostic imaging, surgical procedures, and patient care.
• Familiarity with anatomy and physiology curricula and common student challenges, capable of adapting instruction for introductory through advanced levels.
• Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style, with the ability to adapt to individual learning needs and styles.
