What We Look For In a GED Math Tutor

• Advanced Test Mastery: Possess deep knowledge of GED Mathematical Reasoning content, including:

• Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction:
  • Familiarity with GED Mathematical Reasoning content standards and common challenges (e.g., fraction operations, setting up algebraic equations from word problems, interpreting coordinate plane graphs).
  • Ability to adapt instruction using diagnostic pretests, scaffolded skill progressions, and official GED practice materials.
  • Support adult learners in rebuilding foundational math skills for credential completion.
• Effective Teaching Methods:
