The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our core product development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. You will work across the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and architecture to deployment and maintenance, playing a critical role in shaping the future of our flagship products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Develop: Lead the design, development, and implementation of new features and services across both front-end and back-end systems using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Architectural Contribution: Contribute to the architectural design and evolution of our platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code. Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and Optimize: Identify and resolve complex technical issues, optimize application performance, and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
• Stay Current: Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and techniques to improve our development processes and product offerings.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, with a strong portfolio of shipped products.
• Front-End Expertise: Deep proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and at least one contemporary front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Back-End Expertise: Strong command of server-side programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Go) and frameworks (e.g., Django, Spring Boot, Express.js).
• Database Skills: Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including deploying and managing applications.
• APIs & Services: Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and building microservices.
• Version Control: Proficient with version control systems, especially Git.
• Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Knowledge of message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and various testing frameworks.
• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community.
