What You’ll Actually Do
• Design & Develop: Lead the design, development, and implementation of highly scalable, available, and fault-tolerant cloud platform components and services.
• Architect Solutions: Architect and build robust infrastructure solutions using public cloud providers, leveraging services like compute, networking, storage, and managed databases.
• Collaborate & Deliver: Collaborate closely with product managers, solution architects, and other engineering teams to define technical requirements, scope projects, and deliver high-quality software.
• Drive DevOps: Drive the adoption of DevOps principles and implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable, and automated deployments.
• Mentor & Grow: Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to the overall technical growth and excellence of the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with a senior level focus on building and operating cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in software development, with demonstrated expertise in at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Skills: Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, C#, or Node.js; strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and event-driven patterns; hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration; familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation; solid grasp of networking concepts and security best practices in the cloud.
• Bonus: Experience with serverless computing paradigms (e.g., AWS Lambda), knowledge of database systems (relational and NoSQL), familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), experience with message queuing and streaming services (e.g., Kafka), active participation in the open-source community, or relevant cloud certifications.
