What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Design, develop, and implement robust, high-performance, and scalable cloud-native applications and services using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Architect: Lead the architectural design and implementation of new features and improvements for core cloud platform services.
• Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, SREs, and other engineering teams to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Optimize: Improve existing cloud infrastructure and applications for performance, cost-efficiency, security, and reliability.
• Mentor: Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, with a focus on software development and cloud platforms.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with significant focus on cloud platforms and distributed systems, including extensive experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Skills: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Go, Python, Java, or C++); strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous programming; experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi) and containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes); excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bonus: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field; experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, Pub/Sub); knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL); familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments; experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).
