Assistant Club Manager | Club Stewart / Army NAF
The Tone:
This is an in-person role at Club Stewart, located in Fort Stewart, GA. Club Stewart, part of Army NAF, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for military and civilian personnel and their families. This position directly supports the Department of Defense’s mission by ensuring the efficient operation of a vital community facility. The Assistant Club Manager plays a key role in maintaining a secure, well-run environment for patrons and staff alike.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Oversight: Assist management in the overall operation of Club Stewart, ensuring compliance with all established procedures and standards.
• Financial Management: Handle cash receipts, issue and receive change funds, verify cashier cash counts, and identify any shortages or overages.
• Patron & Event Support: Ensure only authorized patrons utilize the facilities, assist in setting up parties according to plans, and potentially help bartenders with bar and cashier bag setups.
• Inventory & Procurement: Monitor current inventories, place new orders for food and beverages, and properly receive incoming shipments using specified software like Food Track.
• Reporting & Security: Complete daily activity reports and operational summaries, perform routine fire safety checks, and secure the facility at closing.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Demonstrated progressively responsible duties involving the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody, or other processing of cash items. Must meet state/local age requirements (21) for serving alcoholic beverages by the projected appointment date of 04/16/2026.
• Experience: Experience in roles with progressively responsible cash handling duties, particularly where responsibilities included the selling of alcoholic beverages.
• Skills: Proven ability in providing excellent customer service and strong, effective communication skills.
• Bonus: Knowledge of and ability to perform bar service, including bartending experience. Familiarity with purchasing requirements such as using government credit cards, understanding liquor/beer/wine purchasing, Blanket Purchasing Agreements (BPAs), and managing alcohol storage and inventory processes. Experience with RECTRAC and POS systems.
