What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Guide the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Build: Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs.
• Mentor: Guide junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in coding and system design.
• Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements.
• Strategize: Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of the technical roadmap.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in software development, including familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
• Skills: Proven expertise in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, Go, C#, or Node.js), strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles, experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, and solid experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Bonus: Experience with microservices architecture, familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js), knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects, and experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
