Field Sales Representative – Seattle, Washington
Reports To: Sales Execution Manager
Travel Requirement: 100% field-based travel with some overnight stays as required
Location/Sales Territory: Field-based remote in Seattle, Washington
Role Overview
Reporting to the Sales Execution Manager, this Field Sales Representative role is critical for driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with major retail customers and our distributor network within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in field sales, a passion for the beverage industry, and a strong work ethic.
Role Responsibilities
- Create, build, and maintain strong partnerships with Distributors, Retailers, and independent retailers to grow the Liquid Death Portfolio in the assigned territory.
- Apply company sales strategies in key markets to dominate the premium water category.
- Communicate effectively with our Distributor Partners to execute in-trade promotions and upcoming activities.
- Identify new opportunities with Distributor Partners to drive sales growth.
- Execute marketplace initiatives, maximizing distribution, and securing high-value retail space.
- Conduct up to 15 field sales visits per day, depending on geography and initiatives.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent in Business or Sales Marketing.
- 1+ years of field-based sales experience within the Beverage and distributor sales environment preferred.
- Proficiency working in VIP and/or Karma preferred.
- Direct Store Delivery (DSD) experience preferred.
- An entrepreneurial spirit (forward thinker, owner mentality) with a willingness to adapt to company changes to meet hyper-growth needs.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with a wide range of employees with different skill sets.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations required.
- Willingness to meet the high field-based travel needs of the role, including:
- 80% of customer visits in the greater Seattle, Washington metro area.
- 20% of the customer base in the Tacoma, Washington market (within a 2 to 3-hour drive, which may require some overnight stays).
- Cross-market blitzes to another state to support sales activity as needed.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand in-store and sit in a vehicle for extended periods of time.
- Ability to carry equipment and product up to 50 lbs.
- Safely operate a personal vehicle to fulfill work-related duties; this position involves driving a personal vehicle for work-related purposes.
Compensation Transparency (Washington State)
In accordance with Washington’s Equal Pay and Opportunities Act, the base salary range for this position is $80,168 – $86,133. This range reflects an estimate of the anticipated base salary compensation for this role. This range reflects base pay only and does not include potential bonuses, equity, or benefits. The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education, location, and applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour laws. Where state or local minimum salary requirements exceed the posted range, the Company will adjust compensation accordingly.
