What You’ll Actually Do
• Instruct: Provide personalized instruction to individual masters and doctoral students in advanced statistics.
• Simplify: Break down complex statistical theories, derivations, and calculations for clear student comprehension.
• Guide: Lead students through designing experiments, performing multivariate analysis, and implementing statistical models in software.
• Prepare: Ready students for research methodology and doctoral-level statistical analysis.
• Adapt: Modify instruction using real-world examples and proof-based exercises to support diverse student needs and learning styles.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Deep knowledge of mathematical statistics, maximum likelihood estimation, hypothesis testing theory, Bayesian inference, and regression analysis, with the ability to explain asymptotic theory and generalized linear models.
• Experience: Capability to prepare students for research methodology and doctoral-level statistical analysis, along with aptitude for guiding students through complex statistical tasks.
• Skills: Advanced subject mastery in graduate-level statistics, conceptual teaching and problem-solving, curriculum awareness for graduate statistics, and strong communication skills.
• Bonus: Familiarity with R or Python for statistical computing.
