What You’ll Actually Do
• Design and Develop: Architect, design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications and services using modern technologies.
• Frontend Development: Build responsive, intuitive, and high-performance user interfaces using modern frameworks.
• Backend Development: Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services, APIs, and microservices.
• System Architecture: Contribute to technical design and architectural discussions, ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and support to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering their growth.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, demonstrating core knowledge in full-stack software development.
• Experience: 5+ years in full-stack software development, including extensive experience designing RESTful APIs or GraphQL services, and working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes is also required.
• Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React.js (or similar modern frontend framework). Demonstrated experience with Node.js (or Python/Java/Go backend framework). Solid understanding of PostgreSQL (or MySQL) and MongoDB (or Redis). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems. Familiarity with security best practices in web application development. Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects. Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment.
