Graduate Level Intern, Strategic Marketing and Financial Industry | TDECU

The TL;DR

• Mission: Own the creation, development, and potential execution of strategic initiatives within a start-up-like environment focusing on strategic marketing and the financial industry.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), spreadsheets, databases, learning platforms, CRM systems, project management tools, data tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate: Serve as an active team member, supporting internal stakeholders and partners through professional communication via various channels.
• Analyze: Assist team leaders and individual contributors with daily activities such as research, analysis, documentation, reporting, and process improvement.
• Execute: Contribute to defined projects or workstreams aligned to team goals, with expectations for quality deliverables and follow-through.
• Learn: Develop a working knowledge of department functions, tools, products, services, and workflows to better understand business priorities and stakeholder needs.
• Present: Prepare and deliver an end-of-program presentation summarizing key business problems addressed, projects supported, insights gained, skills developed, and recommendations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in or recently completed a graduate program (e.g., MBA, Finance, Accounting, HR, Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field).
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a professional office environment, prior internship or professional experience related to business or finance, and experience with data analysis, process improvement, or research.
• Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; professional written and oral communication; advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; business and financial acumen; results-oriented and self-motivated.
• Bonus: Preferred familiarity with data tools.
