Maintenance Planner/Scheduler | Amentum
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Amentum, located in Waukesha, WI. Amentum provides comprehensive facilities and production maintenance services for industrial, manufacturing, distribution, pharmaceutical, and commercial sites globally. This crucial role ensures the precise coordination of work planning and scheduling, collaborating with various teams, vendors, and clients to develop and execute scheduled maintenance activities, manage parts, and mitigate potential disruptions. The position is essential for maintaining seamless operations and functionality within client facilities.
The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, with potential for overtime, holidays, and weekends based on business demand.
• Location: Waukesha, WI (In-person)
• Pay: $29–$30 hourly
• Team: Operations & maintenance team, collaborating with Amentum team members, vendors, clients, and management.
• Mission: Coordinate work planning and scheduling for various services and equipment to ensure seamless facility operations and mitigate the impact of potential interruptions.
• Tech Stack: CMMS (Maximo, SAP), Microsoft Office suite.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordinate Maintenance: Act as a liaison between the maintenance department and operations, maintaining professional relationships with all stakeholders.
• Plan and Schedule: Identify necessary parts, materials, special tools, external services, and documentation, then schedule all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual preventative maintenance work orders.
• Manage Data: Input and edit data within the CMMS software program and maintain associated files and records for retention.
• Review Work Orders: Review reactive work order data for completion and accuracy, participating in documenting and tracking Root Cause Analysis timelines.
• Procure & Plan Ahead: Pre-evaluate the need for replacement parts, place orders, and proactively develop backup plans to mitigate the impact of potential interruptions on facility functionality.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university OR a combination of education and experience in a maintenance-related field.
• Experience: Experience with data input and editing within CMMS software programs, along with familiarity in a maintenance-related field.
• Skills: CMMS software proficiency, data entry and record retention, scheduling preventative maintenance, effective communication with various parties, and fluency in the full Microsoft product line.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Maximo, SAP, or an equivalent CMMS program; preventive and/or predictive maintenance planning experience; experience in creating presentations.
