What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Support: Use play, games, and evidence-based strategies to help kids develop communication, social, and life skills.
• Session Engagement: Bring energy and compassion to each session conducted at a child’s home, in CSD centers, or within the community.
• Program Implementation: Follow personalized plans designed by clinical leaders, focusing on celebrating small wins that contribute to significant growth.
• Role Adaptability: Thrive in a flexible, on-the-go environment where daily activities are varied and no two days are alike.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate Degree or completion of college coursework. Career level: Early Career.
• Experience: None required; hands-on training and support will be provided every step of the way.
• Skills:
• Patience, energy, and optimism when working with children in every session.
• Comfort working with diverse populations, understanding unique cultures and family dynamics.
• Ability to thrive in flexible, dynamic environments, adapting to varied locations and client needs.
• Willingness to complete necessary training and maintain accurate documentation.
• Physical ability to frequently sit and stand, keeping pace with clients during sessions.
