ProSales Associate | Herc Rentals

This role is crucial for developing future sales talent through the Black and Gold Academy, preparing individuals to drive revenue and build strong customer relationships within a Fortune 1000 organization.

• Mission: To complete a comprehensive sales training and development program, preparing for a Territory Sales Representative role and supporting revenue growth within assigned territories.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales Training: Participate in the Black and Gold Academy to develop professional selling skills, account management, and territory planning.
• Field Engagement: Shadow sales representatives and leaders in the field to observe customer interactions and understand project needs on job sites.
• Operational Insight: Learn core branch operations, including equipment processes, logistics coordination, and crucial customer service functions.
• Industry Exposure: Gain a foundational understanding of the equipment rental industry, Herc Rentals’ business model, and specialty segments.
• Career Advancement: Prepare for a full-time Territory Sales Representative role and gain visibility with leadership for long-term career opportunities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with a demonstrated interest in building a long-term sales career.
• Experience: 0–5 years of sales or relevant customer-facing experience; recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; competitive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset; ability to manage time effectively.
