What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Guide the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable full-stack applications and services using modern technologies.
• Collaborate: Work with product management and design teams to understand user needs, define technical requirements, and translate them into robust software solutions.
• Mentor: Drive technical discussions, architectural decisions, and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Develop: Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Review: Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. This role requires a senior-level professional who can lead and contribute across the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience: At least 5 years of professional full-stack software development experience, evidenced by a strong portfolio of shipped products. This includes extensive work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git, along with experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Skills: Expertise in at least one modern backend language/framework such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Go; strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js, along with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming is required, coupled with experience in relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB). Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex software systems focusing on scalability, performance, and security, alongside excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication.
• Bonus: Experience with real-time data processing or streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, WebSockets), knowledge of GraphQL or other API design paradigms, familiarity with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions), understanding of security best practices in web application development (OWASP), or contribution to open-source projects.
