What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide personalized, scheduled 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions to individual students through a purpose-built Live Learning Platform.
• Accept on-demand instant tutoring requests whenever you are available, providing immediate assistance to students.
• Clearly explain core business fundamentals, including organizational structures, financial statements, market dynamics, business ethics, and strategic planning frameworks.
• Guide students through evaluating business models, analyzing competitive environments, understanding financial reports, examining ethical dilemmas, and developing business plans.
• Prepare students for specialized business coursework and build a foundational understanding of how businesses operate across functional areas, integrating knowledge with company case studies, current business news, and project-based learning.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Deep knowledge of business fundamentals across key areas including management, marketing, accounting, finance, economics, operations, business law, and entrepreneurship.
• Experience: Proven proficiency at breaking down complex topics such as business case analysis, financial statement interpretation, and strategic decision frameworks, with the ability to clearly explain organizational structures and market dynamics.
• Skills:
• Advanced subject mastery, enabling clear explanation of business fundamentals and strategic planning frameworks.
• Proficiency in integrating knowledge across functional areas and connecting business concepts to real-world company examples and career exploration.
• Familiarity with introductory college business curricula and common student challenges, such as understanding cross-functional business relationships and interpreting basic financial data.
• Aptitude for adapting instruction using company case studies, current business news, and project-based learning to support college students.
