What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex features and services for the platform.
• Ensure Cohesion: Contribute to both client-side and server-side components to ensure a cohesive and performant application architecture.
• Define Solutions: Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to define scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions aligning with business goals.
• Champion Quality: Champion and enforce high standards of code quality through comprehensive code reviews, advocating for test-driven development (TDD), and ensuring thorough testing.
• Mentor Engineers: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering continuous learning and collaborative problem-solving.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior level, specializing in full stack software development with a proven track record of designing, building, and deploying complex web applications.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive professional experience in full stack software development.
• Skills: Deep proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Angular, or Vue.js) with HTML5/CSS3; strong experience with at least one back-end language and framework (Node.js, Python, Java, or GoLang); solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases; hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure; familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes); and demonstrated ability to design scalable, distributed systems.
• Bonus: Experience with microservices architecture and API design (RESTful, GraphQL); familiarity with serverless computing; contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile; experience in a relevant industry; a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; proficiency in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
