As an Online Vibe Coding Tutor, you will play a significant role in transforming how individuals learn modern AI-assisted software development. You will provide customized, one-on-one instruction, helping students achieve their academic and practical coding goals, fostering a deeper understanding, and cultivating a passion for contemporary software creation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Guide students through prompt-based application development, teaching them to describe software requirements effectively in natural language.
• Instruct on iterative prompt refinement for efficient code generation and best practices for project scaffolding using AI tools.
• Coach students through the review, testing, and debugging of AI-generated code, extending functionality, and integrating version control.
• Explain effective prompt patterns, best practices for code review of AI output, rapid prototyping workflows, and the capabilities and limitations of AI coding assistants.
• Adapt instruction to various learning styles and student needs, supporting non-programmers building first applications to developers integrating AI into existing workflows through hands-on practice.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Advanced subject mastery in AI-assisted software development, including deep knowledge of natural language prompts, iterative prompt refinement for code generation, project scaffolding with AI tools, and a thorough understanding of AI coding assistant capabilities and limitations.
• Experience: Proven expertise in debugging AI-generated code, integrating version control, and leading students through comprehensive AI-generated code evaluation, testing, and deployment of finished applications.
• Skills: Skilled at conceptual teaching and problem-solving, with an emphasis on prompt-based application development and AI-generated code evaluation. Ability to explain material using multiple approaches, identify common student struggles, and adapt instruction effectively with strong, engaging communication.
