In this role, you will make a significant difference in medical students’ academic success and understanding of the complex USMLE Step 1 material. You will provide customized instruction designed to help students achieve their learning goals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Instruct: Provide personalized, 1-on-1 instruction on USMLE Step 1 content, integrating foundational science with clinical scenarios.
• Guide: Guide students through strategic test-taking, problem-solving, clinical vignette analysis, and differential diagnosis pertinent to the Step 1 exam.
• Adapt: Adapt teaching methods and utilize resources like First Aid, Pathoma, and UWorld to meet individual learning needs and overcome common student challenges.
• Support: Leverage AI-powered Tutor Copilot for real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and enhanced engagement during sessions.
• Manage: Handle session invoicing, while the platform manages all payment logistics for prompt compensation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Deep knowledge of USMLE Step 1 content, encompassing biochemistry, molecular biology, pharmacology, physiology, pathology, microbiology, immunology, anatomy, histology, behavioral sciences, and biostatistics, with an emphasis on foundational science integration with clinical scenarios.
• Experience: Skilled at teaching clinical vignette analysis, high-yield association recognition, multi-step reasoning, interpreting images, applying biostatistical concepts, and constructing differential diagnoses from clinical presentations.
• Skills: Advanced test mastery for USMLE Step 1, strategic test-taking and problem-solving instruction, curriculum awareness and adaptive instruction, effective teaching methods, and strong communication with an engaging teaching style.
