What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Analysis: Analyze, clean, and visualize healthcare datasets to provide critical insights, particularly supporting Medicare Advantage and risk-adjustment strategies.
• Data Science Application: Apply introductory data science techniques to explore complex data patterns, identify anomalies, and support robust analytical outputs.
• Requirements Translation: Translate product and regulatory needs into measurable data elements, crafting simple yet effective analytical summaries.
• Problem Solving: Solve real-world data challenges by preparing datasets, actively improving data quality, and supporting the creation of insightful dashboards and metrics.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative major.
• Experience: Demonstrable experience with Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools.
• Skills: A self-starter mentality, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a naturally data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
