• Team: Works as part of a dedicated pharmacy team, responsible for the supervision and guidance of pharmacy technicians, clerks, and interns.
• Mission: To provide direct patient care and wellness services, make an impact on patient care through disease state management, optimize medication therapy, and deliver outstanding patient-centered care for acute and chronic conditions.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliver Patient Care Services: Actively provide and deliver direct patient care services, developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with patients, ensuring they feel known and supported. This involves consistently delivering outstanding patient-centered care.
• Optimize Medication Therapy & Disease Management: Play a valuable and proactive role in disease state management, optimizing medication therapy for individuals, and assisting patients comprehensively in managing both acute and chronic conditions to improve their health outcomes.
• Supervise Pharmacy Operations Staff: Effectively supervise and provide clear guidance to pharmacy technicians, pharmacy clerks, and pharmacy interns, ensuring smooth and compliant daily pharmacy operations.
• Champion Operational Excellence: Embrace and champion a culture of operational excellence, meticulously ensuring a safe, efficient, and fully compliant environment within the pharmacy at all times.
• Contribute to Company Initiatives: Actively contribute to and fully embrace the company’s cultural initiatives, enhancing overall success and sustainability by fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, a Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy), or possess an equivalent FPGEC (Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination) certification from NABP.
• Experience: Must possess and maintain an active pharmacy license in the specific state(s) of practice, with all held licenses in good standing.
• Skills: Required to be a Certified Immunizer, demonstrating proficiency in administering immunizations. Must possess the ability to work a variety of schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet operational needs. Strong interpersonal skills for building patient relationships are essential.
