What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Purchase Assistance: Actively assist customers with their purchases, including bagging groceries, helping with heavy items, and ensuring their shopping experience is as pleasant and convenient as possible. This involves anticipating needs and providing proactive support throughout their visit.
• Front-End Cleanliness and Organization: Consistently maintain the cleanliness, tidiness, and overall organization of the store’s front-end areas, including checkout lanes, customer service desks, and entryways. This ensures a welcoming and hygienic shopping environment for all patrons.
• Comprehensive Customer Service: Provide exceptional and courteous customer service by effectively addressing a wide range of customer inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and offering clear, helpful information regarding store products, services, or policies.
• Accurate Transaction Processing: Meticulously process customer transactions, accurately handling all forms of payment such as cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments. This also includes operating point-of-sale systems efficiently and ensuring accurate till management.
• Positive Customer and Associate Engagement: Engage positively and empathetically with all customers and fellow associates, sharing smiles and creating a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Your interactions will be key to making others smile and fostering a sense of community within the store.
