The TL;DR

• Mission: To empower children with autism and developmental needs to achieve life-changing milestones through personalized, compassionate support, fostering their communication, social, and life skills.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Skill Development: Implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies, often through engaging play and games, to cultivate essential communication, social interaction, and daily living skills in children.
• Client Engagement: Deliver each session with genuine energy and compassion, adapting your approach whether working within a child’s home, at one of CSD’s centers, or within community settings.
• Treatment Fidelity: Adhere closely to personalized treatment plans developed by clinical leaders, consistently monitoring progress and celebrating every breakthrough, both big and small.
• Flexible Service Delivery: Embrace a dynamic, on-the-go work environment where daily activities vary, requiring adaptability and proactive engagement with diverse client needs and locations.
• Impact Creation: Directly contribute to children achieving life-changing milestones, such as saying new words or sharing toys, thereby fostering hope and relief for their families.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career individuals with a H.S. Diploma or GED. Prior experience is not required, as comprehensive hands-on training will be provided.
• Experience: Willingness to complete all necessary training and documentation, along with comfort in working with diverse populations.
• Skills: A genuine love for working with kids and making a difference, coupled with patience, energy, and optimism.
• Requirements: Flexible availability, particularly during Monday–Friday afternoons/evenings and Saturdays. Must possess reliable transportation and proof of CA-mandated vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, COVID), with the ability to sit and stand frequently to keep pace with clients.
