Job Description

Leidos is seeking a Cyber Analyst Intern to work within its Digital Modernization Sector, specifically within the Fed/Civ IT group. This internship offers the opportunity to engage in critical research and development related to AI security and incident response within a dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Research best security practices around the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Based on this research, write recommended guidelines for end users regarding the use of AI.
• Research AI-based security threats such as email phishing campaigns.
• Determine if there are key indicators that can be used to mitigate these attacks.
• Research Microsoft CoPilot Security for Microsoft Defender and work with the Security Engineering Team on implementing a proof of concept in the CMS M365 Tenant.
• Work with the Security Engineering Team on developing workflow automations to improve security response to incidents.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• US citizenship required.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $48,100.00 – $86,950.00
