CDL Driver | Clean Earth

The Tone:
This is a full-time, field-based role for Clean Earth, a leading provider of environmental services in the United States. Clean Earth offers remediation, disposal, recycling, and beneficial reuse solutions for various waste materials. This role is critical for ensuring the safe and compliant transport and disposal of waste, directly supporting the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Full-time
• Location: Field-based, regional travel (4 overnights Monday-Friday)
• Mission: Safely pack, transport, and dispose of waste materials in strict accordance with environmental policies and regulations.
• Tech Stack: Windows-based software (Word, Excel), routing software

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transport: Safely package and transport waste, adhering to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
• Documentation: Complete all required paperwork in accordance with appropriate regulations and customer policies, practices, and procedures.
• Loading: Load and secure materials and waste, or unload trucks at various customer sites or Clean Earth locations.
• Inspections: Perform documented pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your assigned truck daily.
• Customer Service: Provide the highest level of customer service to assigned accounts, communicating any issues for resolution.

The Must-Haves
• Background: At least 21 years of age with a High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement.
• Skills: Ability to understand, read, and write English; capability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 lbs.; capability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods; basic knowledge of Windows-based software (Word, Excel); willingness and ability to wear company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE); adherence to DOT guidelines; ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check.
• Bonus: Valid TWIC Card, at least 1 year of route driving experience, knowledge of hazardous materials and OSHA regulations.
