The Tone:
This is a regular full-time, hourly role at Jnd Corp, with locations in Plano, TX, Bellevue, WA, and Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Jnd Corp’s team comprises highly experienced developers working across mobile application and software development, business operations, logistics, and UX/UI design. This Software Tester role is essential for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products throughout the entire development lifecycle, directly contributing to Jnd Corp’s vision of fostering growth for both employees and the company.

• Mission: Ensures software quality and consistency by detecting, tracking, and reporting defects across all phases of the software lifecycle.
• Tech Stack: Mobile technologies, operating systems, testing tools, Android, Samsung.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Defect Management: Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies to maintain product integrity.
• Reporting & Analysis: Analyze testing results thoroughly and submit detailed reports to the development team for resolution.
• Test Strategy: Create comprehensive test designs, processes, test cases, and related product documentation.
• Test Execution: Conduct software testing both in the office and on the road, adhering to set standards and procedures.
• Lifecycle Integration: Perform software testing throughout all phases of the design, develop, test, release, and maintain software lifecycle.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; relevant work experience can substitute for educational requirements.
• Experience: 0-3 years of experience in software testing.
• Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, great interpersonal and communication skills, teamwork, and detail-orientation.
• Bonus: Experience in network QA testing, knowledge of mobile technologies, operating systems, and testing tools.
