Compensation & Work Schedule:

  • Hourly Rate: $20.00
  • Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 PM

Internship Overview:

This Solutions Marketing Intern position is a temporary, entry-level role specifically focused on content creation for Toshiba’s software and services portfolio of products. The intern will gain valuable experience in content creation and distribution processes within the TABS marketing team, benefiting from close guidance and support. This role provides hands-on learning opportunities in developing marketing materials for various audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Working closely under the guidance of Department Management and staff, the intern will provide administrative support and engage in entry-level departmental tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Content Rebranding & Creation:
    • Rebranding existing content into PowerPoint presentations.
    • Transforming PDFs into various marketing collateral such as cards, brochures, and vertical files for vendors.
  • Marketing Operations Support:
    • Assisting with project management, asset management, and archiving efforts.
    • Supporting paid media execution by coordinating file preparation, version tracking, placement specifications, and deadlines.
    • Aiding Marketing operations, including request intake, data coordination, pricing change support, and operational reporting.
  • Research & Learning:
    • Conducting competitive research to inform marketing strategies.
    • Learning departmental processes, procedures, and corresponding controls.
    • Under management guidance, supporting various entry-level activities.
    • Collaborating with management or senior staff to learn how to generate and review departmental reporting (both scheduled and ad-hoc).
  • General Support:
    • Assisting with special projects as instructed.
    • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Academic Status: Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior level undergraduate student, or a graduate student, attending an accredited college in good standing. Recent graduates (within six months) of an accredited college are also eligible.
  • Major: Must be pursuing a Marketing Degree, or a closely related major (e.g., Business or similar).
  • Knowledge Base: Must have completed introductory business courses and possess a basic understanding of Marketing principles.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task efficiently, and prioritize assignments effectively.
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated initiative.

Team Building / Volunteer Events:

This internship includes participation in 3 team building/volunteering events over different evenings within the program duration, offering unique opportunities for networking and community engagement:

  • Date to be determined – Dinner with Executives
  • July 14th – Cooking at Orangewood Foundation
  • July 28th – Angels Game in Company Suite
