What You’ll Actually Do
• Patient Treatment Support: Assist doctors efficiently during a variety of dental treatment procedures.
• Operatory Management: Set up and break down the operatory post-treatment, ensuring readiness for the next patient.
• Infection Control & Sterilization: Manage infection control protocols, including preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Patient Charting: Support doctors by accurately performing patient charting tasks.
• Office Administration: Perform various necessary office tasks to support the overall practice operations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or equivalent; this is an early career role focused on dental assisting.
• Experience: No prior experience required; ability to obtain radiology and safety certification within the required state timeframe is essential.
• Skills: Strong verbal and interpersonal communication to build rapport with patients, adherence to infection control protocols, and commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
