Advisory & Experiences Intern – Organizational Change Management (OCM) | Avanade

The Tone:
This is an internship at Avanade, located in various cities across the US. Avanade’s Advisory & Experiences practice redefines traditional strategy setting by rapidly integrating AI and digital transformation to accelerate value for clients. This role is crucial for driving customer impact by helping organizations successfully adopt new Microsoft-enabled technologies and realize the full potential of their investments. It combines deep Microsoft expertise with strategic vision and human understanding to transform how organizations apply technology to achieve their goals.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $25 hourly
• Team: Client-facing teams within the Advisory & Experiences practice
• Mission: Help organizations successfully adopt new Microsoft-enabled technologies and realize the full value of their technology investments.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Assist with organizational change management activities for AI-enabled workplace, ERP, CRM, and Microsoft 365 transformation programs.
• Assess: Help assess organizational readiness by gathering insights related to culture, processes, and ways of working.
• Develop: Contribute to the development of stakeholder engagement and communication materials for diverse employee audiences.
• Plan: Assist with change impact assessments and adoption planning activities to guide clients from awareness to adoption.
• Design: Support the design and delivery of training and enablement materials that empower employees to confidently use new technologies.
• Collaborate: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including technology, business, and experience design professionals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Students in their final year (or nearing completion) of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, or related disciplines.
• Experience: Strong interest in organizational change, digital transformation, and consulting, coupled with curiosity about AI, modern workplace tools, and Microsoft technologies.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, adapt in ambiguous environments, and a willingness to seek feedback, learn quickly, and take ownership.
• Bonus: You are curious about how people experience change and how technology impacts the way work is done, enjoy contributing ideas in a team environment, are comfortable navigating ambiguity, and care about creating human impact.
