The Tone:
This is an internship at AI Video Generation Startup, located remotely, with a required base in the U.S. The company is an AI startup based in Hong Kong, specializing in next-generation video generation technology. This role is crucial for shaping the company’s social media presence and directly impacting technology development by building engaged communities and gathering essential user feedback.

• Mission: To own the end-to-end social media presence, content creation, community engagement, and analytics across Twitter, YouTube, and Discord, growing the brand and influencing product development for an AI video generation startup.
• Tech Stack: CapCut, Premiere, Figma, basic analytics dashboards, scheduling tools, social media management platforms

What You’ll Actually Do
• Editorial & Publishing: Schedule and publish 3–5 daily posts across Twitter, YouTube Shorts, and Discord, ensuring a consistent brand voice adapted for each platform and planning content themes.
• Real-Time Engagement: Engage authentically with the community by answering questions, creating timely memes, sharing behind-the-scenes content, monitoring conversations, and providing quick technical support.
• Content Creation: Script, film, edit, and create thumbnails for 3–5 YouTube Shorts weekly, design Twitter visuals and Discord assets, and develop compelling video demonstrations of AI technology.
• Community Programs: Organize and run weekly events such as prompt battles, creator spotlights, beta-tester AMAs, and user-generated content campaigns on Discord and other platforms.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track growth, retention, and sentiment across all social platforms, presenting monthly insights and recommendations, and monitoring competitor activity and emerging trends.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Core domain knowledge in social media operations and community management, with a strong willingness to learn AI tools and generative technology quickly.
• Experience: Prior social media internship or personal/creator accounts with ≥1k followers or 5%+ engagement. Demonstrated experience with Twitter threads, YouTube Shorts, and Discord community management.
• Skills: Native-level English communication for authentic, algorithm-born memes and complex AI concept explanation; proficiency in video editing (CapCut, Premiere), graphic design (Figma), and basic analytics dashboards.
• Bonus: Experience with AI/ML tools or video generation technology; background in content creation, digital marketing, or community management; familiarity with Discord bot management and server administration; knowledge of video production workflows and motion graphics; previous experience in tech startups.
