Marketing Intern | i2G Systems

The Tone:
This is an internship at i2G Systems, with a hybrid preference for Sterling, VA or Ann Arbor, MI, and a remote option also available. i2G Systems provides advanced electronic security integration solutions for complex and high-value facilities such as data centers, healthcare environments, and higher education institutions. Our teams design, install, integrate, and maintain security technologies that protect people, assets, and data. This Marketing Intern role is crucial for a curious and motivated student to learn how a Marketing Team supports a rapidly growing organization by contributing to brand growth, sales enablement, and business development across various marketing areas.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Development: Create and organize various marketing content, including presentations, one-pagers, and collateral, ensuring consistent brand application and visual updates.
• Digital Campaign Support: Assist in planning, scheduling, and developing content for social media platforms like LinkedIn, and help organize marketing campaign calendars.
• Sales Material Preparation: Prepare and maintain marketing materials used by the sales team for proposals, presentations, and pitch decks, ensuring all content aligns with company branding.
• Performance Monitoring & Research: Support the monitoring of campaign engagement and performance, alongside researching industry trends and competitor activities.
• Marketing Operations & Website Support: Assist with updates to marketing materials, documentation, and website content, refining copy for clarity and consistency, and helping organize internal workflows.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Experience: Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, effective written and verbal communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop).
• Bonus: A demonstrable interest in marketing, branding, or digital marketing, coupled with a curious and eager-to-learn mindset.
