Summer Intern – Business Transformation | STRATTEC Security Corporation

The Tone:
This is a Summer Intern position at STRATTEC Security Corporation, located in Glendale, WI, operating on a hybrid schedule. STRATTEC, a Nasdaq-listed company with over 110 years of history, designs, develops, and manufactures highly engineered security, user interface, and power access products. These products, including power sliding doors, door handles, and key fobs, are primarily supplied to leading automotive OEMs globally. This role offers students meaningful, hands-on experience in a professional environment, contributing directly to the business transformation team by supporting various projects and daily departmental activities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Review: Review and assess current business processes to identify opportunities for improvement within the company.
• Process Updates: Assist in updating existing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across departments.
• Training Material Development: Develop supporting training materials to facilitate the adoption of updated processes by team members.
• Dashboard Creation: Create scorecards, dashboards, and templates to support PMO and wider Transformation initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a degree and seeking an 11-week opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a professional environment, ready to collaborate closely with team members. This role provides exposure to business processes, tools, and projects.
• Experience: Proven experience creating interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, demonstrating an ability to present data effectively.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including strong capabilities in data analysis and reporting tools; strong PowerPoint skills for developing clear, engaging presentations that support business transformation initiatives.
• Bonus: Prior general business exposure, such as through internships, part-time roles, or relevant coursework, is preferred. Experience or familiarity with the automotive industry would also be a valuable asset.
