The Tone:
This is an internship at MedLaunch, where you will be given full-time responsibilities from day one. MedLaunch is building a transformative healthcare accreditation platform that helps hospitals manage compliance, quality improvement, and regulatory processes. This role is crucial for developing cutting-edge AI solutions that directly impact our product and customers, solving real problems for healthcare organizations nationwide.

What You’ll Actually Do
• AI System Development: Build agentic AI systems using Claude Agent SDK, MCP servers, and tool use, alongside RAG pipelines with AWS Bedrock and vector databases.
• API Service Creation: Develop production Node.js services for real-time AI inference, integrated with the existing MongoDB data layer and Voyage AI vector database management.
• Data Processing & Search: Implement semantic search, knowledge extraction, and document processing pipelines for text analysis from document repositories using S3 Vectors, MongoDB Atlas, and OpenSearch.
• AWS Deployment: Design Lambda-based inference systems on AWS and integrate LLMs via agentic frameworks for domain-specific autonomous workflows and Q&A systems.
• Data Engineering: Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns in complex healthcare datasets and develop ETL processes for external data sources and APIs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with deep specialization in Agentic AI (Claude Agent SDK, MCP Servers, Tool Use) combined with Node.js/TypeScript, AWS, and RAG.
• Experience: At least 1 year building production AI services in Node.js/TypeScript using AWS (Lambda, Bedrock, S3, EC2) and agentic AI frameworks, alongside RAG development with vector databases and NLP/document processing expertise.
• Skills: Node.js/TypeScript programming, Git for version control, collaborative development, Agentic AI (Claude Agent SDK, MCP Servers, Tool Use), AWS AI services, RAG development, and NLP/Document processing.
• Bonus: Previous experience in healthcare or regulated industries, familiarity with Claude Code, Hugging Face transformers, LLMs, MongoDB aggregation pipelines, advanced statistical modeling, and data privacy compliance frameworks.
