AI/Full-Stack Development Intern | Cooper Standard

The Tone:
This is an internship at Cooper Standard, available in a hybrid or remote setup. Cooper Standard is actively building and integrating innovative AI solutions into web-based applications. This role offers a significant opportunity for an intern to gain practical, hands-on experience across various aspects of AI research and development. You will contribute to both front-end and back-end development efforts, working with modern technologies to support the company’s advancement in digital solutions and AI integration.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate: Collaborate with senior researchers on experimental projects.
• Integrate: Support the integration of AI models into web-based applications.
• Build: Assist in building innovative AI solutions using AWS services and Python.
• Develop: Help develop and maintain user interfaces with ReactJS.
• Develop: Help develop and maintain back-end services with NodeJS.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This role is suited for an early career professional or student with a strong interest in AI, data science, and full-stack software development. Candidates should be motivated and eager to contribute to a development team focused on innovative solutions.
• Experience: Candidates should possess practical experience with ReactJS for developing user interfaces on the front-end. Additionally, familiarity with NodeJS is expected for server-side programming tasks, contributing to back-end services.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Python is required, especially for its application in AI and various data science tasks. A basic understanding of relational database systems (RDS) is also important for managing data storage and retrieval.
