The Tone:
This is an internship at Herc Rentals, located in Bonita Springs, FL. Herc Rentals is a leading equipment rental supplier in North America, with extensive operations and a strong market presence. This role is designed for an energetic and responsible individual to learn the daily routines and operational procedures, gaining insight into how the organization runs. The intern will focus on developing and maintaining essential operational relationships with customers, contributing to the delivery of first-in-class customer-focused solutions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Handle: Answer phone and email inquiries from customers.
• Support: Identify customer needs and collaborate with Field Operations to help deliver required solutions.
• Nurture: Provide a consistently high level of customer service to build and retain strong relationships.
• Execute: Provide timely and accurate quotes and reservations that lead to precise invoicing.
• Coordinate: Resolve customer needs and coordinate rental activities with the Field and Branches.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled at a college or university, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in your junior or senior year.
• Experience: Availability to work between 20-30 hours per week, with a typing speed of 30 words per minute.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
