The Tone:
This is a seasonal role at GPC, which operates a busy distribution center with positions available across 1st, 2nd, and weekend shifts. GPC focuses on the efficient flow of goods to stores and customers. As a Seasonal DC Stock Associate, you will play a crucial part in the foundational operations of the center. Your primary focus will be on the accurate handling of inbound freight and the efficient fulfillment of customer orders, ensuring that products are processed correctly and dispatched on time. This position is vital for maintaining the smooth flow of goods and supporting GPC’s commitment to timely service.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Inventory & Freight: Accurately operate a radio frequency (RF) scanning device to locate and select merchandise, performing case opening procedures, scanning boxes, and placing products on correct shelves.
• Fulfill Orders: Efficiently and accurately pull items and pack merchandise for shipment to stores and customers, processing orders for timely delivery.
• Maintain Standards: Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain clean and organized work areas, and properly follow all company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Collaborate & Communicate: Work collaboratively and effectively with others in a team environment, proactively bringing problems or concerns to the attention of a supervisor, manager, safety director, or HR manager.
• Adhere to Protocols: Consistently follow daily procedures and protocols as outlined in job orientations and trainings, while also thriving and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
