Leasing & Marketing Intern | Allen & Pugh

The Tone:
This is a paid, part-time internship at Allen & Pugh, located in State College, PA. Allen & Pugh manages a growing portfolio of residential properties in downtown State College. This role is crucial for supporting the daily leasing and marketing activities that attract and engage residents for their communities. Interns will directly contribute to representing the brand and bringing the properties to life through various initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Leasing & Prospect Management: Assist with daily leasing operations by conducting property tours, managing prospect follow-ups, and overseeing lead management to support property occupancy goals.
• Marketing & Event Support: Contribute to comprehensive marketing efforts, including developing social media content, coordinating on-site promotional activities, and assisting with outreach events.
• Brand Representation & Community Engagement: Serve as a brand ambassador, actively representing Allen & Pugh at tabling events, open houses, and various community activations to engage with prospects and residents.
• Property Presentation & Feedback: Help maintain the visual appeal of properties, ensuring they are tour-ready, and gather valuable market feedback and insights from both prospects and current residents.
• Social Media Content & Strategy: Create engaging content for social media channels, including photos, short-form videos, and captions, while also supporting the marketing content calendar and brainstorming creative, on-brand ideas to highlight communities and student lifestyle.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled college student with a preference for studies in marketing, communications, real estate, hospitality, or business-related fields.
• Experience: Demonstrated familiarity with various social media platforms, assisting with content creation, posting, scheduling, and basic performance tracking.
• Skills: Possesses strong interpersonal and communication abilities, is comfortable engaging with a diverse range of individuals including peers, prospects, and residents, and is recognized for being organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Bonus: Exhibits a genuine interest in real estate, leasing, marketing, or community-building, and has the flexibility to work a part-time schedule which may include occasional evenings or weekends during busy leasing periods.
