Assistant Project Manager Intern – Fall 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio (Jobsite)

Pay Range: $25 per hour

Superior is seeking highly motivated and energetic students to join our Assistant Project Manager Internship program for the Fall 2026 term (September – December). Under the direct guidance of our Project Operations team, you will gain significant exposure to active jobsites and learn the intricacies of keeping projects moving forward. This includes practical experience in:

  • Contracting
  • Scheduling
  • Estimating
  • Bidding
  • Contract administration

This role is based directly on a jobsite in Columbus, Ohio, providing an immersive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Project Manager Intern, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting comprehensive project documentation, including construction drawings, requests for information (RFIs), submittals, and meeting minutes.
  • Documenting weekly project owner’s meetings and crucial decisions made.
  • Ensuring drawings and specifications are consistently updated with the most recent information.
  • Assisting the project team with essential site safety documentation and coordination efforts.
  • Aiding in the management of the project permit process.
  • Helping to maintain and distribute the project schedule to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assisting the project team with project closeout procedures, including the generation of project punch lists and required documentation.
  • Actively collaborating and demonstrating strong teamwork within a dynamic project setting.

Education

  • Required: You must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Management or a related field.
