The Tone:
This is an in-person internship at Hudson Pacific Properties, likely based in Los Angeles, California. The company owns, transforms, builds, and operates marquee office and studio properties across key West Coast markets, serving the media and technology industries. This role is crucial for enabling the organization to learn, responsibly adopt, and effectively use AI tools, ensuring employees have the resources and guidance to thrive in an evolving technological landscape and align with company policies.

What You’ll Actually Do
• AI Guidance & Education: Learn Hudson Pacific Properties’ AI landscape, business context, and approved AI tools to translate this knowledge into practical, actionable guidance for employees across the organization.
• Resource Management: Create and maintain comprehensive SharePoint pages that serve as a central hub for AI tips, effective prompt examples, approved-use guidance, FAQs, and links to all relevant internal policies (e.g., AI Use Policy, IT Policy, Acceptable Use).
• Trend Monitoring & Reporting: Proactively track and summarize crucial Microsoft AI updates (including M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Teams/SharePoint AI capabilities, and Power Platform AI features) and provide regular digest updates to the IT team.
• Responsible AI Adoption: Actively support and reinforce the responsible adoption of AI by educating employees on policy-aligned practices, such as avoiding the entry of confidential or proprietary information into unapproved third-party tools.
• Prompt Engineering & User Support: Develop and rigorously test various prompt patterns and use cases for approved generative AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT, focusing on improving productivity, summarization, drafting, and research workflows, while also assisting employees and executives with AI-related questions, tool selection, and output validation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an applicable college-level program (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, Business Analytics) or have recently completed such a program within the last two years.
• Experience: Demonstrated hands-on experience with generative AI tools and prompting (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude), coupled with a solid understanding of their inherent limitations, such as hallucinations and critical data privacy concerns.
• Skills: Strong writing and documentation abilities capable of transforming complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly guidance; professional communication skills essential for collaborative teamwork and effectively supporting executive stakeholders; and comfort working proficiently within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, and PowerPoint.
