Job Summary: Cabinetry Installation Associate

Ferguson is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinetry Installation Associate. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the final quality of cabinetry prior to client turnover and addressing post-closing warranty needs. Your responsibilities will include performing final punch-out work, miscellaneous punch work throughout construction, and handling service part logistics and delivery.

Position Details:

  • Location: This position services multiple locations both South and North of Broward County and West Palm Beach County. The ideal candidate must reside within a reasonable driving distance of these areas.
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Pay: Starting at $24.17 per hour, with the potential for higher pay based on relevant years of experience. The full pay range for this role is $19.34 – $29.00 per hour and is eligible for Bonus or Incentive Plans. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations, and starting wages may be higher in certain locations due to local or state requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general punch work on homes, including adjustments, touch-up, and light installation of cabinet components.
  • Receive and deliver service parts efficiently.
  • Update our in-house system with receipts and fulfillments of parts.
  • Conduct warranty punch work and provide service for closed homes.
  • Initiate orders for service or warranty parts as necessary.
  • Fulfill driver duties and responsibilities, providing transport of service parts.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state-issued driver’s license is required.
  • Ability to drive a Non-CDL pickup truck under 10,000 lbs.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Prior experience in the cabinet industry.
  • Proficiency in cabinet touch-up and repair.
  • Ability to use various hand tools effectively.
  • Experience with carpentry.
  • Working knowledge of the Windows operating system.
  • Ability to function effectively and independently without daily oversight from management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail coupled with strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
