Influencer Intern | Golden Hippo

The Tone:
This is an Influencer Intern position at Golden Hippo, a company that operates remotely with a base in Woodland Hills, CA. Golden Hippo is an employee-owned, vertically-integrated builder of popular health and wellness brands in America. The company’s mission is to create best-in-class products that contribute to a healthier and happier world, supported by creative content that educates on smarter health choices. This role supports the Influencer team in executing and managing a broad range of partnerships across multiple brands. It serves as a comprehensive introduction to understanding how to build, scale, and manage high-impact partnership programs, directly influencing their success.

• Mission: Supports the Influencer team in managing partnerships to build and scale high-impact programs for multiple brands.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Identify and Source: Proactively identify and source influencers and User-Generated Content (UGC) creators, ensuring they align with specific brand values, campaign goals, and creative directives, including through monitoring brand mentions, tags, and organic social conversations.
• Manage Outreach and Communication: Draft and send initial outreach messages to potential influencers and UGC creators for collaboration opportunities, and diligently monitor and respond to inbound emails to support clear communication around campaign details, deliverables, and timelines.
• Facilitate Campaign Setup: Provide support for rate discussions and negotiations under team guidance, and assist in the crucial creation of comprehensive content briefs and influencer decks required for upcoming campaigns.
• Organize Assets and Documentation: Help to meticulously organize, track, and manage all creative assets delivered by influencers and UGC creators, while maintaining internal trackers and documentation to ensure all campaigns remain well-organized and up-to-date.
• Analyze and Research: Conduct competitive research into existing influencer marketing programs to inform strategies that enhance our program’s reach, engagement, and overall success, and track and share the data-driven results of current influencer marketing campaigns.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrolled in or completed an accredited 4-year university program.
• Experience: Demonstrable ability to identify partnership and growth opportunities, coupled with advanced knowledge of social platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Skills: Possesses superior attention to detail, strong written communication abilities, and operates as a self-starter who takes initiative when appropriate.
• Bonus: A passion for social media and influencers.
