Customer Solutions Intern | BS&A Software
The Tone:
This is an internship at BS&A Software. Our organization provides cloud-based ERP solutions specifically designed for local governments and utility districts across the country. This internship offers invaluable hands-on experience with enterprise software, gaining exposure to the full customer lifecycle, to develop crucial technical, analytical, and customer-facing skills.

• Mission: Gain hands-on experience across the full customer lifecycle for enterprise ERP software, covering system configuration, implementation, training, and support.

What You’ll Actually Do
• System Configuration: Assist with the setup and configuration of BS&A ERP software for municipal customers, including supporting the documentation of customer business processes and requirements, and helping to validate customer data following system conversions or updates.
• Customer Enablement: Help develop user documentation, training materials, and knowledge articles, and support training sessions for customers learning to use BS&A software by preparing training environments and presentations.
• Issue Resolution: Assist support specialists in investigating and troubleshooting customer issues, learn how to diagnose data issues and recommend corrective actions, and answer “how-to” questions related to using the software.
• Software Validation: Document customer interactions, case notes, and resolutions in internal systems, and test software updates while assisting with validating bug fixes or new functionality.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with Implementation and Support team members, participate in team meetings, project reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions, and take on individual projects designed to build product knowledge.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career, currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting / Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated interest in enterprise software, SaaS, or government technology.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills; the ability to learn quickly and adapt in an evolving environment; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and customers.
• Bonus: Experience with Excel, data analysis, or reporting; Exposure to ERP systems or SaaS platforms; Basic understanding of databases or data structures.
