Work for this role is performed consistently throughout the BGE service territory, covering a wide range of counties:

• Montgomery County

Responsibilities

As a Medium Voltage Splicing Trainee, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting certified splicers with the installation, splicing, and termination of medium-voltage cable.
• Learning and adhering to proper procedures for working on 15 kV and 34 kV underground electrical systems.
• Providing support with the installation and servicing of transformers, switchgear, substations, and various distribution equipment.
• Maintaining a strong and unwavering commitment to all safety standards and established procedures.
• Working collaboratively within a small field-based team on essential infrastructure and reliability projects.
