• Mission: This role ensures the readiness of Ryder’s fleet and facilities by performing essential fueling, cleaning, and basic maintenance tasks.
• Tech Stack: Computer hardware and software, word processing, spreadsheets, email, data entry

What You’ll Actually Do
• Fueling: Fuel Ryder vehicles, record all fuel activity, and accurately maintain proper fuel and DEF inventories and reconciliation.
• Vehicle Readiness: Wash and detail vehicles, perform multi-point inspections on inbound units, check tire pressure, and report service issues to the shop.
• Facility Upkeep: Maintain the fuel island area to Six Sigma standards and policies, and perform assigned minor facility maintenance tasks.
• Fleet Support: Move heavy duty vehicles, change tires, inspect refrigeration units on trucks, and manage waste by emptying trash.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred; no prior experience is required for this entry-level role.
• Experience: Up to one year of experience is preferred, with demonstrated basic computer skills for data entry and understanding codes and instructions.
• Skills: Proficiency in English written and verbal communication, demonstrated customer service skills including understanding verbal communication, and a high degree of thoroughness and dependability.
• Bonus: A valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A is preferred, with the essential ability to obtain a CDL within 6 months after hire.
